Enjoy
the serenity of lakeside luxury living at Sunset Point Lake
Estate. Originally the main lodge of a resort, this wonderful
five bedroom home is loaded with nostalgic charm and yet completely
updated with all the modern amenities. The estate
is situated on a point, consisting of five secluded acres of beautiful
forest and lawns and there are stunning views of South Turtle Lake out of
almost every window.
The Turtle
Lake Chain consists of South and North Turtle Lakes and Rock Lake, a
total of over 1000 acres to sightsee in our complimentary pontoon
boat. You will see blue herons, American bald eagles, loons,
ducks, otters, beavers, mink, raccoons, foxes and white-tailed deer. |
|

|
The
lakes themselves are very beautiful with lots of scenic forested
shoreline and islands, and many beautiful homes. To get from the
South Turtle Lake to the North Turtle Lake, your boat will pass under a
lovely bridge in a quite cove. To get to Rock Lake, you'll slowly
traverse a river-like section through reeds and woods. You will see lots of turtles and birds on this
part of your tour. |
|
Or you may want to spend the day fishing for the plentiful musky,
walleye, northern pike, bass, crappie and panfish. South Turtle lake is
a class-A Musky and Walleye lake, and many of our best catches have been
made right off our dock. Besides the 24 foot pontoon boat, a row boat and canoe are also
complimentary.
Swim in the
crystal clear water from our large dock. Lie in one of the hammocks or just sit on the front lawn
with a refreshing drink and take in the best view on the entire
chain. The sunsets are spectacular as is the star-filled sky at
night.
Nearby businesses are
available to rent ski boats and wave runners for the more adventuresome
and those looking to add some adrenalin to their day! |
